Kate Webb - Dressage Rider
Rainbow Equine is proud to sponsor Kate Webb. Kate, 28 is a talented Dressage Rider who combines her competitive career with a demanding “day job” of being a Police Officer, currently on a secondment to the Home Office as part of the UK Border Agency.
Her first taste of affiliated dressage came at 13 when she realised that her Working Hunter Pony, Midnight Sun, had some talent in that direction.
She was soon bitten by the bug and was offered the ride on Bay Mountain an ex-racehorse whom she took from Novice to Advanced. Along the way, Kate won through to the finals of British Dressage’s national talent spotting competition.
Kate was an active member of BYRDS and was invited to be part of a team of Young Riders representing Great Britain at a friendly international at Blarney Castle in Ireland. Kate also qualified several times for Regional Championships and once for the National Dressage Championships.
Kate’s current horse, Nota Bene a 16.2hh Dutch Warm Blood, has only been lightly competed due to work commitments, but has qualified for the Regional Championships at both Medium and Advanced Medium. Kate made her debut at PSG earlier this year at Oldencraig and won her class. Kate Currently trains with BEF World Class Potential Member Amy Stovold & List 1 FEI Judge Isobel Wessels.
In spring 2009 Kate will start training our own “Santa Fe” a beautiful Sandro Hit sired filly. Santa Fe already boast’s of a successful showing career.
